Clock time and duration
十時 is ten o’clock; 十分 is a duration of ten minutes. 十時十分 combines them to mean 10:10. Keep these three meanings distinct.
十分遅れます means being ten minutes late. Do not use 十時遅れます. The readings じゅっぷん and じっぷん for 十分 are both accepted where the exercises ask for that reading.
Give a precise location
駅の前 is in front of the station, while 駅の中 is inside it. Add a location word such as “in front” or “inside” to make the meeting point clear.
In 駅の前で会います, で marks the place where meeting happens. In 駅の前にいます, に marks where someone is. Choose the particle with the verb.
Confirm the final time
The original time is ten, but it changes to 十時十分. Read the whole exchange before answering. The meeting point stays in front of the station because no location change is stated.
If you are already there, say 今、駅の前にいます. Do not use this to say you are still on the way. Distinguish being there, travelling there and being late.
