Practise responding to a café question about where you will eat. Then correct one detail of an order politely before the conversation ends.

Answer the question actually asked

店内でお召し上がりですか is a polite way to ask whether you will eat or drink in the shop. A learner can answer ここで飲みます in a simple café scene, or 持ち帰りでお願いします for takeaway. The staff’s honorific wording does not mean you must copy that wording when speaking about yourself.

The word order in 冷たいお茶 places the adjective before the noun. 温かいお茶 specifies a warm drink instead. In the dialogue, the customer first orders coffee, then changes to tea. The final order is therefore tea, not both drinks.

Make a correction explicit

すみません、コーヒーではなく、お茶をお願いします clearly replaces one drink with another. This page does not make claims about any café’s menu, prices, or takeaway policy. Use it to practise identifying and changing the requested item.
